It has been reported that the upcoming Xbox exclusive, Crackdown 3, has been hit with yet another delay. This comes as a major blow to the gaming division over at Microsoft. As of right now, there are no major Xbox exclusives announced for the remainder of 2018.

Crackdown 3 Hit With Another Delay

Crackdown 3 was first announced during the 2014 E3 conference. It was set to be highly ambitious by utilizing cloud-based computing. However, as time went on, the game was continuously delayed for the Xbox One.

Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, also stated earlier this year that the development team was set on keeping its 2018 date with no delays. So, it comes as a big surprise that this is now a 2019 release.

With no new exclusives officially announced for this year, Xbox is at a disadvantage to their competitors. We have learned about Forza Horizon 4 being in development, while Gears of War, Halo, and Fable are rumored to make an appearance at E3. There is also no current release date set for Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

This E3 will prove to be a crucial time for Microsoft. The Xbox One X released last year at a whopping price of $499.99, but there was only Forza Motorsport 7 to show off its potential. Microsoft’s E3 presentation is set for this Sunday, June 10 at 1 PM PST/4 PM EST. It will be available to view on all major streaming platforms and social media.
