According to a Forbes article, Blizzard’s action-RPG Diablo 3 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Since garnering momentum, the post has since been deleted. However, Blizzard originally teased the port on Twitter back in February of 2018. In the posting, it was stated that this will be the recently released Eternal Collection, which includes the main game, Reaper of Souls expansion, and the Rise of the Necromancer pack along with all previously released updates. Forbes’ posting alleges that this port is going to retail at $59.99. A Legend of Ganondorf cosmetic armor set, Tri-Force Portrait frame, Chicken Pet, and Echoes of the Mask cosmetic wings will be featured. The Switch version is also planned to support four-players locally or wireless. Online play is to be included as well once the Switch’s online infrastructure launches in September. Cloud saving will also be a supported feature. Diablo 3 originally released back in 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It became the fastest selling PC title with 3.5 million units sold in 24 hours. Two years later marked the release of the Reaper of Souls expansion, which was included in the Ultimate Edition release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Rise of the Necromancer was unveiled at BlizzCon 2016 and launched in June of 2017.
