The physical release of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Prophecy of the Throne’s release has been delayed in the UK due to Brexit and the Coronavirus lockdown, according to Spike Chunsoft PR. We’re currently working on our North American release of Re:ZERO on the Nintendo Switch, but it appears those in the UK who ordered the physical version will have to wait just a little bit longer. The digital version of the game releases on February 5 in the UK and Europe, while the physical version will release on February 19.

Spike Chunsoft, Inc. and Numskull Games regret to announce a delay of the physical release of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne in the United Kingdom. The physical version will be delivered to UK customers on February 19, instead of the initial release date February 5. The delay is caused by issues related to Brexit and COVID lockdowns. Spike Chunsoft, Inc. and Numskull Games are working hard to resolve all matters to ensure that Re:ZERO fans in UK will not need to wait to receive the physical versions much longer.

New release date for physical version in UK: February 19, 2021. Digital version will be released on February 5, 2021 in UK and other European regions.

Although the Re:ZERO physical release is delayed by two weeks in the UK, we can promise you, the wait will be worth it. Look for our review later today!
