Artist JaniceScottART, formerly known as EternaLegend, has opened a new Twitter account to post her art and has put together a spectacular piece based on Link from Breath of the Wild. Known for her wonderful Legend of Zelda art which is frequently mistaken as official artwork, this piece, in particular, is fascinating and shows off a completely new side of the artist, who is more known for her realistic style. This piece appears to be inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky, who is best known for his work on Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack, and the 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon. It’s an obscure, yet beautiful piece of art where JaniceScottART is able to take something existing and put her own mark on it, rather than simply mimic a realistic style which has already been realized so many times before.

Ms. Scott has just re-branded herself and begun producing some Zelda art again. It will be exciting to see what other franchises she draws inspiration from in the future as she continues her career as an artist. She’s a true asset to the fanart community and is so much more than just Zelda, as she proves here in this piece and previously with some of her other work as well.
