Octopath Traveler Sells Out in Japan

Octopath Traveler is a turn-based JRPG set in the mythical world of Orsterra. Eight different characters are used to explore the world, each coming with their own story. The game takes inspiration from retro RPGs such as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI. It utilizes “HD-2D” as its graphics base.

Nintendo first showed off Octopath Traveler during the initial Nintendo Switch unveiling. There is currently a three-hour demo available on the Nintendo eShop for any interested. All progress in the demo can be transferred to the main game, as well.
