Major Nelson has recently taken to Twitter to tease one of the upcoming games being added to Xbox’s Game Pass program for the month of March. This was Crystal Dynamic’s 2015 release, Rise of the Tomb Raider. Rise of the Tomb Raider is the sequel to the 2013 Square Enix game, Tomb Raider, which was a reboot of the franchise of the same name. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, the main protagonist, Lara Croft embarks on a journey that may possibly lead to unlocking the secrets of immortality. Sometime next week, Nelson has promised to deliver the rest of the 8 games joining the program’s lineup.

The program launched in 2017 to rave reviews and was being heralded as “the Netflix of gaming”. The announcement of the program’s launch resulted in a subsequent drop in GameStop stock. Xbox president, Phil Spencer, has also gone on record to state the program will begin to feature every upcoming Xbox exclusive, such as Rare’s highly-anticipated Sea of Thieves, as well as titles like Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2.

Xbox Game Pass is $9.99 a month and offers games which include, Halo Wars 2, NBA 2K17, and loads of backward compatible titles.
