EternaLegend has gone to her roots so to speak and has put together this beautiful portrait of Princess Zelda from Breath of the Wild. After putting in 380 hours into the game and finally beating it, she was inspired to take on this particular project. Her interpretation of Zelda is absolutely stunning. Skyward Sword Zelda is my favorite, but this is the best incarnation I have ever seen of the character. She is regal. She is stunning. She gives off a sense of wisdom. You can also tell the amount of passion that EternaLegend put into the piece. It is nothing short of astounding.
EternaLegend has put so much work into Zelda fan art over the years that some have even mistaken her artwork as actual promotional material. Her level of quality is even better now. While she may have taken a step back from working exclusively on Zelda, her passion remains.
If only Nintendo would hire her as a concept artist! I’d love to see her vision of some of our most iconic characters, and if her mishmash with Death Stranding and Mario is any indication, she has quite the imagination and the talent to make it happen.
