Developer Insomniac Games has just made known the release date for their upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, Spider-Man. The game will be swinging onto store shelves Friday, September 7, 2018.  Not only this, but they have also announced details regarding the collector’s edition and the digital deluxe edition.

Both the collector’s and the digital deluxe editions will include three post-launch story chapters, new missions, characters, and suits for the players to wear. In addition to this, both versions grant the players a PS4 theme/avatar, five extra skill points, and the Spider-Drone Gadget. After this, the two editions begin to vary. The collector’s edition will include a white spider sticker, a custom steel book, a mini art book, and a Spider-Man statue. The digital deluxe edition contains a full game download and a physical Spider-Man pin for pre-orders. The pin will be fulfilled by a third party and restrictions may apply. The collector’s edition will run users $149.99 while the digital deluxe edition will cost $79.99.

Monthly gaming magazine, Game Informer, has also done an exclusive feature on the game for the upcoming May issue. The company sat down with the creative director of the game, Bryan Intihar as well as the voice actor for Peter Parker, Yuri Lowenthal. Both interviews chronicle the development period and how each person approached the opportunity of helping to create a Spider-Man game. Game Informer has been able to showcase new gameplay regarding the upcoming release for fans to clamor over.

Fans can look forward to September 7 to play Insomniac’s newest game. Spider-Man will be releasing exclusively on PlayStation 4. The game is available for pre-order on Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
