This reveal may be one of many that players can expect to see in the coming months. Games from this current generation of consoles making their way to the next generation could be a popular endeavor. Rockstar Games, for example, kicked off Sony’s PS5 showcase to announce that Grand Theft Auto V would be making its way to the new consoles, marking its appearance for the third straight generation. CD Projekt Red’s Cyperpunk 2077 is also releasing for the next-gen. It should most likely be expected to see upcoming releases on both gens, such as The Last of Us Part 2 and Marvel’s Avengers.
Control is Remedy Entertainment’s 2019 release which garnered multiple end of the year awards, as well as some Game of the Year nods. From the developers behind Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Max Payne 1 & 2, this title perfectly blends action-adventure with surrealism for a fantastic experience. The game is currently available to play on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
