Courtesy of John Boyega’s agent, we now know that the new The Rise of Skywalker trailer is coming this Monday, October 14. The trailer will premiere during Monday Night Football. This is the first glimpse we’ll see of the film since the D23 Expo footage, so all eyes are watching. Details are very scarce on the upcoming film which will close out the Skywalker Saga, but JJ Abrams has big plans and intends to finish the saga in fitting fashion. It’s unknown yet what kind of role Palpatine plays in the last installment of the epic Skywalker Saga, but if our spoilers are correct, it will not fail to disappoint.

The Rise of Skywalker will see the whole band of characters back together again, as opposed to The Last Jedi, which has them scattered across the galaxy. One thing that will be interesting is if it gives any inkling as to whether or not the spoilers are true for The Rise of Skywalker. JJ Abrams is a master of misdirection and may very well have planted leaks simply to throw us off of his track. We won’t truly know until December 20, 2019, when the film launches and we see it for ourselves.

Check out Monday Night Football for the trailer on the 14th!
