Comicbook.com has released a series of The Last Jedi TV Spots into one video, including a one-minute long spot that we previously reported on. This time though, that TV spot, along with all of the others, are shown in high-definition glory. The new dialogue gives insight into some of the scenes between Luke and Rey, including a bit where Luke tells Rey to “resist!”.

First TV Spot

New The Last Jedi Dialogue

The first TV spot is most interesting. We don’t have the full context for everything just yet, but it seems that Luke thinks Rey’s raw power may consume her and is telling her to resist, as it previously consumed his previous apprentice: Ben Solo. It is later that Rey tells Luke that she won’t fail him like Kylo did. Luke seems desperate to save Rey from herself. It will be interesting to see how this dynamic evolves over the course of the film.

  • Rey:It’s calling me!”
  • Luke: Resist it Rey!”
  • Luke: ” [screams inaudible]”

Second TV Spot

This TV Spot seems to focus most on Poe, with a brand new quote from Snoke in the beginning.

  • Snoke: Darkness rises, and light to meet it.”
  • Poe:Permission to jump in an X-Wing and blow something up?
  • Leia:Permission granted.

The third TV spot is the one-minute long one we previously reported on. The video and audio quality was poor though. Here, we finally have it in high definition.

There are only a few weeks left until The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15!
