E3 isn’t a contest, but let’s face it, most people view it as such.

The Xbox One X is the most powerful console ever conceived. The Xbox One S is the best-valued console on the market based on the specs and what comes out of the box. Despite this, Microsoft has really struggled the last year-and-a-half due to the fact that they haven’t had any major exclusives release. 2016 was a great year with ReCoreGears of War 4Forza Horizon 3, and Quantum Break, among others. These were very high-quality titles.

Since then though, Microsoft hasn’t had much luck in terms of exclusives. Last year they focused on the Xbox One X hardware, and this year they have only had one major title come out, Sea of Thieves. It’s a really fun game, but isn’t an elite one. Microsoft has the foundation to build something special with the Xbox One brand, they’re just missing top-notch exclusive games. This is about to change. Sony is only focusing on a handful of titles that have been announced according to reports. This is Microsoft’s time to shine.

Microsoft Will Win E3 2018 Because of Gears of War 5

Walmart Canda has leaked Gears of War 5 by way of a placeholder listing, among other games. While Halo, once Microsoft’s flagship franchise, is in decline, Gears of War is thriving. Cliff Bleszinski and Epic Games created one of the most exceptional series’ in all of gaming. Gears was revolutionary. Its cover system and tactical nature informed so many games to come. Epic Games no longer works on Gears of War and CliffyB has moved on. The Coalition has stepped up though and crafted the finest game on the Xbox One.

Gears of War 4 was a breath of fresh air. It was fun. The story was gripping. The environments and gameplay were excellent. The Coalition took the gameplay of the original and added some new elements to give it a breath of fresh air. This is what the series needed. Gears of War is the summer blockbuster of video games. It’s full of fun and adventure with epic set pieces that you can’t find anywhere else in the gaming industry. The Coalition continued this legacy and expanded on it.

Gears of War 5 is coming. Microsoft needs exclusives. It will be Microsoft’s flagship title at E3. If Microsoft is able to manage just two of their top franchises and one or two new IPs, they will win E3.

Forza Horizon 4 is Coming

The Walmart leak also indicated that a brand new Forza Horizon title, which they claimed was named Forza Horizons 5. This is most likely a typo. We have already confirmed through our sources that Forza Horizon 4 is in development and will most likely take place in Japan. Forza Horizon is one of Microsoft’s strongest IPs. Forza Horizon 3 won the best Racing/Sports Game award at The 2016 Game Awards, a remarkable accomplishment. It is an elite franchise. Microsoft needs their strongest exclusives at E3. Forza Horizon is one of them.

The Xbox One Has The Foundation For Greatness

The Xbox One has built the infrastructure. They have more for the Xbox One X, the most powerful console ever, shown. They’ll have exclusives they so desperately need. In addition to Forza Horizon and Gears of War, if they show one more established franchise or a new IP, they are set for 2018. If they reveal VR hardware or Augmented Reality Hardware for the Xbox One X, in addition to other brand new features for the Xbox One X, it will destroy their competition. The Xbox One X is the future of Microsoft. They have invested a lot in it. We’ll have to see what they have in store for the console, but they will have something special in store for the new console.

Microsoft has all the pieces in place. They have the best hardware in the industry. The company has some of the best software in the industry in development. It’s just a matter of putting hardware and software together, which they will.

That is why Microsoft will win E3 2018.
