Nintendo continues to dominate in this week’s Famitsu sales from 4/11 to 4/17. The Nintendo Switch sold a total of over 60,000 units when taking into account all of the various units, compared to the PlayStation 5’s 11,000 units. Even the Xbox Series X/S managed to sell half of what the PlayStation 5 sold in Japan, which is a new low for Sony. Here are the hardware numbers in full.

In terms of software numbers, the Nintendo Switch took nine out of the top 10 spots. Sony managed to capture the number six spot with the PlayStation 4 title Winning Post 9 2022, which is a game that just came out over the past week. Though, by that same token, the Nintendo Switch version of the game sold more copies and charted as well. Kirby, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rounded out the top three in terms of sales in Japan. Here is the full chart.
