The titles for episodes 13 and 14 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season, episodes 72 and 73 respectively, are “Children of the Forest” and “Savagery.” These correspond to chapters 111 and 113 in the manga. This goes with the tradition of having each episode title being named after a specific chapter in the manga. The question is, where will the season end? We’re reaching at least chapter 113 in the manga, but with this slower pace, it seems episode 16, the final episode in the season (unless there’s a second cour), will reach chapter 116-117 at most. The problem with this is that in the season trailer, we did see moments from chapters 121 and 122 animated, so from that standpoint, unless it’s severely rushed (which I don’t think it will be), Attack on Titan’s final season won’t go that far, unless there’s a second cour. There is a panel coming up on March 28 will almost all the voice actors, where there could be a major announcement. At this point, with the heavy restrictions of COVID, a movie series does not make sense. A second cour seems more likely, the question is though, when will we get it? Hopefully, we don’t have to wait that long, as, after episode 16, there’s probably at least 10 episodes worth of material left.

Attack on Titan’s final season airs on Sundays and “Deceiver” will air today, so stay tuned!
