Angry Mob Games has just announced that their fighting game, Brawlout, will add the main character from Dead Cells to its roster. This character is set to be included in a free update later this fall. Dead Cells joins of Hyper Light Drifter, Guacamelee!, and Yooka-Laylee as playable guests. A trailer introducing the titular character can be seen below.

Brawlout is a party-fighting game similar to the Super Smash Bros. series. The title features wave-dashing, free-form combat, and a chargeable rage meter, in addition to its online and local co-op options. A slew of game modes are also included such as timed, stock, and team matches. Coming exclusively to Xbox One owners is a new party-mode that helps to enhance the game’s local multiplayer.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game has since gone on to sell over 50,000 copies. A physical release of the game came a few months after the title’s release on the hybrid console.

Previously, Brawlout released on the Nintendo Switch and Steam back in December 2017. The game is currently set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 21.
