Chapter 121 of Attack on Titan is called “Memories of the Future”, and this will be the title for episode 79 of the anime series. We have spoken many times on this site about how “Memories of the Future” is one, if not the best, chapter in Attack on Titan. It will be the fourth episode the second half of the final season. This means that the anime is progressing rather slowly, with four episodes covering five chapters from the manga (not that we’re complaining.) This means the final act of the anime could be as many as 20 episodes, as that’s the approximate amount of chapters the anime will be covering and there is little to nothing that can be cut out.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season is a larger-than-life phenomenon. There has been nothing like it in the history of anime, and “Memories of the Future” will change everything you know, or think you know, about the series. It’s the most shocking chapter in the series by a long shot. We wish that we didn’t have to wait until the end of January to see it, but, we’re excited it’s coming up so soon and to see it in animated format!

Is there anything from Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan you’re looking forward to getting animated besides “Memories of the Future?”
