Sony is offering 10 free games this Spring as a part of their Stay at Home initiative on the PlayStation 4, and one of these games is the heralded Horizon Zero Dawn. It will be available from April 19, 2021, through May 14. It will be the Complete Edition and will include the Frozen Wilds DLC. This is quite the catch for PlayStation 4 owners, as Horizon Zero Dawn is arguably the best exclusive on the system. The sequel for the PlayStation 5 looks even more promising, Horizon Forbidden West, which is supposed to come out this year, but that remains to be seen. Sony has offered many free games as part of their Stay at Home Initiative, which is not only great for gamers but great for public health given the current “crisis” the world is currently facing. While we criticize Sony only because we love them, this is not one of those moments. This is a fantastic initiative and benefits all. And putting one of your premium games out there for free is risky, such as what they have also done with the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Props to them for that. Hopefully, Sony has a number of exclusives they have not announced yet for the remainder of the year and can really get things going with the PlayStation 5, as their standard is nothing but excellence.
