The episode titles for episodes 68 through 70 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season have been revealed. This season of Attack on Titan has been phenomenal so far, with three episodes ranking in the top 20 episodes of television of all-time. Episode nine (68 overall) of the Final Season will be titled “Brave Volunteers”, episode 10 (69 overall) will be titled “Sound Argument”, and episode 11 (70 overall) will be titled “Counterfeit”, and episode 12 (71 overall) will be titled Guides.

There are currently 16 episodes total listed, and the trailer shows scenes from chapter 122, so we know that the season will go through chapters 122 or 123 by episode 16. It is uncertain whether or not the season will be split into two parts or if it will be finished with a series of films. Movies are much more lucrative from a financial standpoint, but it would also mean a longer wait than if the season were split into two cours and a lot of material will have to be cut, which is something the anime has been doing such a great thing not doing. There’s also the issue of the pandemic, as large gatherings are very limited and another outbreak of COVID-19 could hurt the production of a film financially.

The Attack on Titan: The Final Season episode titles that have been revealed are the titles of chapters 106, 108, 110, and 109 of the manga, respectfully. The anime is going at such a pace that it will get to chapter 122 by episode 16. If that’s the case, either episode Beyond that, nothing is known. Attack on Titan: The Final Season airs each Sunday and is simulcast on Crunchyroll, VRV (whose parent company owns Crunchyroll), and Funimation.
