Microsoft has announced today that the Xbox Game Pass is coming to PC gamers. In addition to this service, PC gamers will receive exclusive deals. They will receive up to 20% off of existing Xbox Game Pass games and up to 10% off of related-game DLC and add ons. This will all be available on the Microsoft Store on Windows. They will share more information regarding this at their E3 2019 press briefing, including additional titles being added to the Xbox Game Pass library. Microsoft is also making their games available not only on the Windows store, but other PC gaming stores as well. Choice is very important to Microsoft and they want to give their consumers a variety of options upon purchase. This is an incredibly smart business move and allows Microsoft to sell more games, as not all PC gamers utilize the Windows store.

Xbox Game Pass Coming to PC

Microsoft also announced that they are going to add 20 more Xbox Studios games on Steam, such as Gears 5 and all Age of Empires I, II & III: Definitive Editions. This is very exciting for PC gamers and although Microsoft has been lacking as of late in terms of first-party titles, they have acquired a number of studios announced at last year’s E3 and the future is very bright.

Stay tuned on June 9 at 1pm PDT when Microsoft announces more of their plans for the future!
