The physics-based platformer, Human: Fall Flat, is set to release a multiplayer update later this year. This will include an eight-player online experience for console owners. Owners of the game on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One can receive this free update on August 28. Human: Fall Flat released on PC and Mac July 22, 2016. It was later ported to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in May of 2017, with the Nintendo Switch following in December later that year. Multiplayer was introduced to computers in October of 2017 but had not been available on its console versions. The platform-puzzler follows Bob, a customizable human that has no special powers. Players must take control of Bob to solve each level. There are multiple paths in each level that provide gamers with a unique method of completion through each subsequent playthrough. Critics have regarded this game with mixed to average reviews. Many praised the multiple solutions offered and its slapstick controls. However, IGN stated it as being more fun to watch than to play. This has not deterred sales for the game, as of June 2018, it has sold over four million copies. A physical release was also created for the game. Publisher, Super Rare Games, created 5,000 copies in March of 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
