PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be giving its Xbox users a bit of a treat during the month of May. The map, Miramar, is going to be added to the game within the next month. It was revealed during a panel at the gaming convention PAX East. Director Brendan Greene announced the map’s arrival to the system, as well as provided viewers with a celebrity-filled stream, which featured deadmau5. The Miramar map had been previously available for PC users since mid-December when the game entered its 1.0 release.

The popular online game has seen an insane spike in popularity, mostly due to its battle royale mode. The game has over thirty million players on PC while having over three million on Xbox One. It has been a phenomenon that has helped make way for other battle royale games such as Fortnite. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, also known as simply PUBG, has received generally positive reviews even garnering a Game of the Year Award nomination at the 2017 Game Awards.

The game is currently in 1.0 release on PC, but is in Early Acces on Xbox One. Players can purchase the game on Xbox and PC for $29.99. PUBG is a 100 player online battle royale game where players fight for survival to become the last one standing.
