To celebrate The Legend of Zelda’s 35th anniversary, Nintendo is releasing a Legend of Zelda Game & Watch, much like they did to celebrate Super Mario Bros. One disappointment is that Nintendo stated that this is the only thing they have planned for Zelda’s 35th anniversary, but with Skyward Sword HD on the way and considering Nintendo’s lineup for the Switch this fall, there really is no need for more Zelda. Our own inside sources, which are reliable and lineup with what journalists have said over the last few months, and that is that Twilight Princess HD and The Wind Waker HD are coming to the Nintendo Switch.

There are three games that will be included on The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch: The Legend of ZeldaAdventure of Link, and Link’s Awakening. There will also be a special version of Vermin, a Game & Watch title that stars Link. The system comes out on November 12 and will launch with a price point of $49.99. It sounds decent overall from a collection standpoint, but it’s still a massive disappointment. You can play all of those games on the Nintendo Switch, including a superior remake of Link’s Awakening. Unless you’re a collector, there’s no reason to buy the Game & Watch. If you were a Zelda fan, the Nintendo Direct was possibly quite disappointing.
