Mark Hamill may have let it slip when The Last Jedi trailer is going to finally hit. Hamill told a fan to “wait” until October 9 during Monday Night Football. He quickly deleted the post, but as we know, anything on the Internet lasts forever. Every since Celebration, fans have been waiting for the full trailer, and while the teaser trailer shown was great, fans are craving more.
A reputed Star Wars news website has confirmed the October 9 date through one of their insiders and are confident that is the day the trailer will be shown. It will be very interesting to see what is (and isn’t) revealed, as Disney has been so tight-lipped on their latest installment in the Star Wars Saga. For me personally, I want some actual snippets of Luke, and more importantly, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo. Nothing too spoiler-ish, but I do want to see where the movie is headed plot-wise.
The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15 and promises to be one of the best Star Wars titles to date with Rian Johnson at the help. Considering it will be two and a half hours long, there should be plenty of story to satisfy fans. Whether or not the story is good, that is up to fans to decide, but I have complete confidence in Rian Johnson.
