Square Enix’s E3 2019 showcase has come to a close but not without its fair share of announcements. There were many reveals from the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake all the way to their take on Marvel’s Avengers. Here is a full recap of the presentation for anyone who may have missed a reveal:

Square Enix E3 2019

  • Final Fantasy 7 Remake new information. Will be on two blu-ray discs with the first taking place on Midgar as its own standalone game. Tactical mode when ATB is full which allows for various abilities. Deluxe edition and collector’s edition announced for March 3, 2020 release date
  • Life is Strange 2 advertisement
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles coming this Winter to Nintendo Switch and mobile
  • Octopath Traveler advertisement for Steam
  • The Last Remnant Remastered available now on Nintendo Switch for $19.99
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo out June 27
  • Dragon Quest XI S available in Fall
  • Circuit Superstars by Square Enix Collective announced for all major platforms in 2020
  • Final Fantasy soundtracks available now on major music streaming platforms
  • Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC, ReMIND, releasing this year
  • Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers launch trailer
  • Dying Light 2 trailer
  • Romancing Saga 3 and SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions remasters coming to all major systems
  • Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions announced for mobile
  • Outriders by People Can Fly revealed for Summer 2020 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC
  • Oninaki available August 22
  • Final Fantasy VIII Remastered announced for 2019 on Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC
  • Marvel’s Avengers trailer. Crystal Dynamics’ own take on the heroes where Captain America dies after an attack from opening a West Coast facility. Nolan North as Iron Man. PlayStation partnership for exclusive content and early beta access. No release date.

Overall, there were plenty of surprise announcements from Square Enix, as well as some additional details for those already revealed. Taking over Sony’s usual time slot did not seem to intimidate the publisher, thanks to all their showings.
