Niantic has recently revealed which Pokémon will be featured in the upcoming August Community Day for the hit mobile game Pokémon GO. Fans can look forward to trying to capture their very own Eevee.
Eevee is one of the most unique Pokémon in the whole franchise. It has eight different evolutions, each with its own variation in looks, colors, and abilities. All of these depend on the player’s playstyle. It will also give users the opportunity to catch Eevee in its shiny form.
This is the first time that Pokémon GO has not followed a pattern alternating from starter Pokémon and 10 km eggs. Niantic may be planning something special for the coming months, so expect to see more Alolan and generation four Pokémon.
This is the eighth Community Day that the game has seen, however, it is the first time that it will last for two days. With the event, there will be a 3X-catch stardust, which can be used in leveling up as well as trading. The exclusive move has yet to be announced, but is expected to be shown within the coming weeks.
The Eevee Community Day is quickly approaching, taking place from August 11 to 12.
