The UK Official PlayStation Magazine has ranked the Final Fantasy games in full. Some placements are questionable, while others deserve their placement. The sad thing is that sequels, such as Final Fantasy XIII-2, are not included in the list, which is one of the best Final Fantasy games to date. The list also includes the online-only Final Fantasy games, which is a peculiar choice. That being said, their number one pick seems to come out of nowhere. Final Fantasy is a storied franchise with some incredible games. As far as rankings go, my personal favorites are Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy X; if we count sequels, my favorite is Final Fantasy XIII-2. This list is merely one person’s opinion and is food for thought, despite the fact I vehemently disagree with it, but, it’s so hard to put a list together of the top games in a franchise (I should know after the Zelda debacle.) Without further ado, here is the list in full.

16. Final Fantasy XI
15. Final Fantasy I
14. Final Fantasy II
13. Final Fantasy III
12. Final Fantasy V
11. Final Fantasy XIII
10. Final Fantasy IV
09. Final Fantasy VIII
08. Final Fantasy XV
07. Final Fantasy X
06. Final Fantasy VI
05. Final Fantasy VII
04. Final Fantasy XIV
03. Final Fantasy IX
02. Final Fantasy VII Remake
01. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
