No More Heroes 1 and 2 have seen strong sales in the West (North America and Europe), according to Marvelous Entertainment, who published the games on the Nintendo Switch. This was given as a part of the company’s latest financial results. No specific sales numbers were given, but this definitely bodes well for No More Heroes 3. The pair of games were released on the Nintendo Switch last October. This is impressive, considering the original title came out on the Nintendo Wii 10 years ago. Engine Software was responsible for the development of the ports, and they took approximately six months to finish. No More Heroes 3 was due to be released this year on the Nintendo Switch but was delayed into this year, 2021. It’s one of the more anticipated games for the Switch, and Suda51 always has something interesting up his sleeve. It’s especially impressive that the series has managed to continue over the past 10 years, but that just shows how unique and fun the games truly are. They fit Nintendo perfectly. With very little known about Nintendo’s first-party lineup for the Nintendo Switch this year, it’s refreshing knowing a game like No More Heroes 3 will be launching in 2021. Hopefully, we get a more specific launch window soon.
