Microsoft’s X019 event was filled with loads of surprises and announcements. Among them was the reveal that the Kingdom Hearts series is finally coming to the Xbox family of systems. This includes the Xbox One X in addition to the upcoming Project Scarlett console. Both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue are launching next year, 2020.

The two packaged include the following titles:

    • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
    • KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
    • KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
    • KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
    • KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics)
  • KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue 
    • KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance HD
    • KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage –
    • KINGDOM HEARTS χ Back Cover (movie)

Kingdom Hearts 3

Now Xbox users can have access to every entry in the series, including this year’s Kingdom Hearts 3In addition to this news, Square Enix also revealed that a new demo for the third entry is now available to download on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The demo has players face off against the Rock Titan on Mount Olympus from Disney’s Hercules. Toy Story’s Buzz and Woody also make an appearance. Save data from the demo is said to carry over into the main game, as well.

From now until November 22, Kingdom Hearts 3 can be purchased at a 67% discount on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network digital storefronts.
