Nintendo has announced the games coming to Switch Online for Japan for February, and it’s a stark contrast to games announced for the West. The Switch is receiving some stellar games for Switch Online in February, unlike the West. The Nintendo Switch is receiving Psycho Dream, like the West, but the additional games differ greatly. Japan will be receiving Mario’s Picross, already available in the West; Solomon’s Key 2; and Shin Megami Tensei II for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, which never saw an English release. Shin Megami Tensei II is the star of this lineup. The series is phenomenal and spawned a spinoff series, Persona. Atlus is releasing a brand new Shin Megami Tensei game this year, Shin Megami Tensei V, which is one of our most-anticipated games of 2021. Shin Megami Tensei is like Pokemon for adults, and features choices to go down a law, neutral, or chaos path. These paths each inform the experience you’ll have and will each give you a different ending. Nintendo’s Switch Online games have been great as of late in the West, but unfortunately, this month is severely lacking, while Japan is receiving a game from one of the best franchises to appear on the system.
