Famitsu has released their sales numbers for the week of June 8 through June 14, and the Nintendo Switch continued its dominance. Of the top 10 selling games, all of them were on the Nintendo Switch. Animal Crossing: New Horizons took the top spot, followed by Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics, Ring Fit Adventure, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, and then finally Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. And that’s only the top six games. 22 of the top 30 games are on the Switch.

On the software side of things, the Switch sold a little over 38 thousand units, with the Switch Lite selling 16.5 thousand units. The next closer is the PlayStation 4 Pro, with a little over five thousand units sold.
As the Nintendo Switch continues to dominate Japan, it will be interesting to see if they can continue this momentum into the next console generation.
