Famitsu has released their review scores for February 3, 2021. Though there are only three titles, one of them is massive. Famitsu has released their review scores for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, giving it an overall 36/40, with reviewers giving it a 9, 9, 8, and a perfect 10. Super Mario 3D World on the Nintendo Switch was supposed to come out last year to celebrate Nintendo’s 35th anniversary but was delayed due to unknown reasons. Here are the rest of their review scores for February 3.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury (NSW) – 9/9/8/10
Little Nightmares II (NSW/PS4/XBO) – 8/8/8/9
New Star Manager (NSW/PS4) – 7/8/7/8

Interesting to note is that every game they reviewed is available on Nintendo’s Switch. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on the Nintendo does not appear to disappoint, as a 36/40 from Famitsu is very good. It may be a port of an older Wii U game, but it appears to add enough new content to stay fresh and bring something new to those who have played it before. Better yet, there are a slew of Switch owners who have never played the title before due to the fact that the Wii U failed so horribly and it didn’t have the install base that the Switch has. The Switch has sold just under 80 million units in less than four years. If the sales of a smaller game like Pikmin 3 Deluxe are any indication, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury should do very well.
