Another week, another edition of Famitsu’s most-wanted games. The list is mostly the same, but things will get very interesting in the next week or two when games from the Nintendo Direct from this past week show up. It will be interesting how wanted Splatoon 3 will be, or Skyward Sword HDAll votes were cast from February 4 to February 9, so it may be a bit until we see these new games break into the list. It will be a nice change of pace though and will show how the Japanese market responded to Nintendo’s latest announcements for the Switch. This week, Monster Hunter Rise continued to dominate, followed by Tales of AriseFinal Fantasy XVI; Resident Evil Village; and finally, Breath of the Wild 2. While Nintendo only has two games in the top five, they dominate the top 10 with seven games total out of 10, and nine of the top 13 games. Here is the list in full.

This list will undoubtedly change once Nintendo’s announcements are taken into account, but the question is, how drastically? Where will Skyward Sword HD and Splatoon 3 land? We’ll have to wait in the coming weeks for our answer.
