Anime Expo has revealed the time and date when the screening of the first 10 minutes of Evangelion 3.0+1.0 will air. In a statement to myself, Anime Expo revealed that they will be screening the first 10 minutes after a screening of Evangelion 3.33 You Can [Not] Redo3.33 will be aired on Saturday, June 6 at 6pm at the J.W. Marriot Diamond Ballroom. Anime Expo revealed this on Twitter in a conversation with myself. They do not know if the dub or the sub-version will be airing.

This is great news for Evangelion or normie fan. Anime Expo is showing all the Rebuild fans, so even the newbie Netflix viewer has the opportunity of experiencing Eva as it is now meant to be seen. Once again Anime Expo is on the ball, adding Evangelion to their slate. The Rebuild films are excellent in my opinion, yet I hate Mari because she’s fanservice and took away Kaji’s best scene. The scenes in HD are breath taking. You’ll be in for a ride.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Anime Expo

Fans have been craving 3.0+1.0 for roughly seven years. Hideaki Anno has apologized profusely, and now his new envisioning of Neon Genesis Evangelion will be complete. As long as Kaji is still alive, I’ll be happy. I expect a bitter sweet ending and Anno will not disappoint.
