EternaLegend, who is best known for her Zelda artwork, has been branching off as of late. This time, she decided to do quite a unique pice and have Mario meet Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding.
“I’ve always wanted to do something like this – giving Mario a more serious look. And I’ve been so damn interested in Death Stranding for quite some time now.“
The piece is definitely freaky, but being able to mold two different styles into one and portray Mario in such a darker light is something we haven’t seen before. In fact, Hideo Kojima, the mastermind behind Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding took note of EternaLegend’s piece himself. He actually re-tweeted the piece on Twitter, which must have been a huge honor for EternaLegend.
What an honor! EternaLegend is an incredibly talented artist, but it seems that branching out from just doing Zelda pieces has made her an even greater artist. We’re sure her future in this industry is as bright as can be!
