The title of Attack on Titan episode 83 will be called Pride, it was announced today. This corresponds to chapter 126 of the manga of the same name. Episode 82 is called “Sunset.” The pacing of these episodes is extremely slow; they’re going at roughly one-chapter-per-episode. Chapter 125 of the manga is “Sunset.” It will be very interesting to see how these next few chapters are adapted. There are so many different moving pieces to get from place x to place y, etc. There’s nothing you can really cut from the source material. At the pace they’re going, it’s unlikely that they will finish the series with Part 2 of the anime. If anything, they will finish it as a movie, or there will be a third cour. There is a panel in Japan for Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 on March 27. The Japanese voice actors for Eren, Armin, and Mikasa will be in attendance. It is highly likely that this is where either a movie or a part three to the final season will be announced. Given the pacing of the second half of the season so far, which has been magnificent, they would be lucky to finish the series with 20 episodes.
