Skyward Sword HD is one of the Nintendo Switch’s most-anticipated games of this summer, releasing on July 16. GameStop has an interesting pre-order bonus for those who decide to order their game early from the gaming retailer monolith. Those who pre-order from GameStop will receive a special Skyward Sword poster. While the poster itself is pretty nifty, Nintendo previously released a high-quality version of the poster as a part of their Nintendo Rewards program years ago. It’s nice that it gives newcomers and those who missed out on the initial poster the chance to attain it, but it feels lacking. That being said, it does appear to be one of the better pre-order bonuses in recent memory. The Skyward Sword HD pre-order bonus at GameStop is a nice pickup for those who either love Zelda merch, like myself (although I have the original poster from years ago), or newcomers to the series.

That being said, we couldn’t be more excited for Skyward Sword HD. The original was an excellent game with the best story in the Zelda franchise, and the motion controls were intuitive and a lot of fun. Nintendo has also made the game more accessible this time around which is fantastic. The motion controls appear to be a lot smoother this time around and this will be the definitive version of Skyward Sword.
