According to various news media outlets, four Super Mario remasters are coming to the Nintendo Switch this year to celebrate the series’ 35th anniversary. The titles that are planned to come to Switch are Super Mario GalaxySuper Mario SunshineSuper Mario 3D World, and Super Mario 64. The games were going to be announced at E3 2020, but due to the trade expo’s cancellation, the games are likely to be announced when Nintendo unveils more information about their Mario theme park and the upcoming Super Mario film instead.

It’s uncertain whether all the games will be packaged together on one cartridge, but one of the most prominent rumors is that Super Mario GalaxySuper Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario 64 will come on one cartridge, while Super Mario 3D World will be released as a stand-alone title. Super Mario 3D World is said to be a deluxe version of the original, much like New Super Mario Bros. for the Switch, with brand new levels and challenges.

The games are planned to be released this year in 2020 and considering the quality of these four titles, they’re the perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch. All four are among, if not, the best 3D Mario titles and we cannot wait to get our hands on them on Nintendo’s finest console to date.
