France’s best-selling games of 2017 have been released and the list includes many Nintendo Switch games, including two Switch games in the top five. Fifa 18Call of Duty: WWII, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Assassin’s Creed Origins rounds out the top five. Of all the games, the Nintendo Switch is the only system to include two of the top-five games. The rest are multi-platform games. This is very impressive. The full list is provided below, with Super Mario Odyssey sitting at number six. There are more exclusives in the top 20, but Nintendo has the most with eight of the top 20 games sold in France. Two Pokemon games for the 3DS are included as well.

Nintendo had a fantastic 2017 with the Switch’s first year and this year looks just as bright with the recent release of BayonettaKirby‘s imminent release, and Yoshi and Hyrule Warriors still to come. There is already so much more that hasn’t been announced yet and Labo is still on the horizon. E3 is only about three and a half months away and there is bound to be more release dates and games announced. Nintendo is poised to have an incredible 2018.
