Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is a chance for many who never experienced the game on the Wii U to experience the game on the Nintendo Switch. The game is a spinoff from the Dynasty Warriors franchise, which is a hit in Japan. Hyrule Warriors came out for both the 3DS and the Wii U, with the 3DS version having the distinct character Linkle. Linkle was actually originally conceived as Link’s younger sister, but this idea was scrapped.  Hyrule Warriors was successful as far as the Wii U goes, as Zelda is one of Nintendo’s signature franchises, so it makes complete sense that a port of the game would come out for Nintendo’s fastest-selling console in history. A trailer for the game came out not long ago and showcases a lot of the game’s features.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will include all of the DLC from the original game, both Wii U, and 3DS. There are 29 play able characters in the game, as well as access to special costumes for Link and Zelda, their Breath of the Wild garb. The game has no release date as of yet, but it will release this spring. With so much to do in the game and so many characters to explore, the game no undoubtedly is jam-packed full of content for Nintendo Switch owners.
