Katsuhiro Harada, a developer for Bandai Namco, does not deny the rumor that several games will be announced for the Switch on December 15, as we previously reported. When linked to the story on this very site, he gave a simple “I’ve no comment”. His primary works are on basically all the Tekken games in a producer or directorial capacity, and he was a producer on Pókken Tournament. He also worked on Soulcalibur IV as co-director.

It’s very interesting that he answered regarding a Xenosaga HD collection, not Soulcalibur. This possibly gives extreme credence to the rumors. He could have flat out denied it, but instead, he chose to simply not comment on it.

Katsuhiro Harada Does Not Deny Bandai Namco Rumors

The original Xenosaga series was developed by Monolith Soft and Bandai Namco owns the rights to the IP. The games were released between 2002 and 2006, and given the popularity of the Xenoblade franchise, this may be just the right time to release an HD collection of the series. It would introduce the series to a brand new generation of gamers, and given the high quality of the story, it could do quite well.

We won’t know anything for sure until December 15, but hopes a growing higher by the second, especially for longtime Xenosaga fans. They have been waiting for this moment.
