This morning was not a quiet one with Sega officially revealing Team Sonic Racing. There is no official release date as of yet, but it will launch later this winter on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Certain details regarding the game have also come to light.
Walmart also caused a bit more E3 trouble as well. Before the official Sega announcement, Walmart released a placeholder for the title revealing specific key details about the game. These were as follows: a 15 character roster, Grand Prix modes, Time-Trials, Team Adventures, a campaign, and online support. The official Twitter page for RAGE shared their condolences with Sonic the Hedgehog over a similar leak that they had faced.
Thanks @RAGEgame! Same to you bb.

The game was first teased during SXSW with a silhouetted image of the logo. It is currently being developed by Sumo Digital. This company previously worked on Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. Those games each featured a rich array of maps and characters that players were able to unlock.
There is no doubt that more information will be shown in the coming weeks during this year’s E3. Sega has been having a pretty good year so far with the release of Yakuza 6 and the upcoming Sonic Mania Plus, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Shenmue I & II Remasters.
