A brand new Rogue One trailer has been revealed by Lucasfilm and Disney. Despite the fact that rumors have been surfacing that Rogue One was in turmoil, due to the fact that the studio did not like the tone of the film, that has been quelled, albeit for the meantime. The film itself looks incredibly intriguing and while the Anthology series may not be for everyone, this may be one film that will surprise during holiday 2016. While locales and characters are unfamiliar as is the backdrop of the film, there is a figure lurking at the end of Thursday night’s trailer which we all know (and maybe love), which aired during the Olympics.
While the Rogue One trailer may not excite fans, it may get them curious enough to go see the film. It won’t be the hit The Force Awakens was, but not very many films have that ability. Rogue One opens December 16, 2016.
