It has been announced that acclaimed developer, Remedy Entertainment, will be at E3 2018. The company is best known for its work on Max Payne 1 and 2, Quantum Break, and of course, Alan Wake. Not much is known about its next game, codenamed P7. One thing is for sure though, P7 will be presented at this summer’s convention. Remedy has dropped sparse information regarding the upcoming game. The only thing that is known is that it will be a cinematic third-person game and it will be set in a “new Remedy-created universe.”

The company has vowed that their newest game will be a longer lasting experience. This is in direct response to the criticisms that their last game, Quantum Break, faced. Many referred to this game as being too short with not much replay value. Remedy is set on fixing this issue with their next release.

P7 is currently slated for a 2019 release, but the developer has also announced that work another project will begin this year. Could it possibly be the sequel to Alan Wake that many have been looking for? Only time will tell. The developer is also currently working on a single-player campaign for the game, CrossFire 2. They have also ended their Xbox exclusivity and will release P7 on PlayStation consoles, in collaboration with 505 Games.
