The PSVR is dropping in price for a limited-time in North America from February 18 to March 3. The standard unit is dropping in price from $299 to $199, while the Doom bundle, which takes you to the depths of hell, will be priced at $299 from its former price of $399. The most popular PSVR bundle this holiday, which was the Skyrim bundle (which came with the PSVR headset, a PlayStation Camera, and two PlayStation Move controllers), will be priced for $349, contrary to its $449 price. This promotion will be available in select stores, including Best Buy, Target, GameStop, and Walmart.

While these bundles are a fantastic deal, it has to make one wonder if VR isn’t doing as well as originally expected. Oculus dropped the price of the Rift and Touch to a someone reasonable $399, although it still requires a hefty computer to run. Regardless, this is great for PlayStation enthusiasts who have been holding out for the PSVR to lower in price. The Skyrim in particular looks like a reasonable deal. While playing Skyrim on the Switch, immersing yourself in the vast world of Skyrim in VR is something that would be nothing short of miraculous. Gamers need to act quickly, as this Skyrim bundle is sure to sell out quickly.
