Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remakes may have been hinted at by The Pokemon Company. Recently, the official Twitter page for Pokemon has begun its promotion for the upcoming Pokemon Day event. One of these promos feature a Tweet saying “Let’s go, Sinnoh!” and then proceeded to mention the three starter characters, Piplup, Turtwig, and Chimchar. It is currently unknown whether or not this has anything to do with an upcoming announcement.

With Pokemon Day set to have its own stream filled with information for the franchise’s 25th anniversary, many have begun to speculate on what could be revealed. This tweet adds credence to the popular theory that the Let’s Go series may see another entry. Currently, Let’s Go! Pikachu and Eevee has sold 13 million copies and is the eighth biggest selling game on the Nintendo Switch. It would not be out of the question that Nintendo might want to see another entry launch.
Saturday, February 27 is set to bring about Pokemon Day where many announcements and celebrations are planned to occur. Among them is a virtual concert from Post Malone and possibly a Pokemon Direct. The company has stated that there will be plenty of surprises throughout the year for fans of all aspects of the series, including the card game, Pokemon GO, spin-offs, and more. Fans can look forward to a slew of possibilities, like the rumored Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remakes, while also looking back at 25 years of memories.
