Nintendo announced today via a short press release that they will be holding a Super Smash Bros. Direct on November 1 at 7am PDT. The direct will be roughly 40 minutes long and will presumably reveal new characters and features in the game (hopefully Rex or Homura and Mythra from Xenoblade 2, or Isaac!). Considering the direct is 40 minutes long, Nintendo is bound to reveal an abundance of new information about the game as we near closer to release. After the Direct is over, Nintendo is airing a special segment of Treehouse Live where they will be showcasing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, Yoshi’s Crafted World, and Diablo III: Eternal Edition. Here is the short press release in full.

Tune in on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 a.m. PT for a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct, which will feature approximately 40 minutes of new information on the game. Additionally, once the Direct concludes, stay tuned for a Nintendo Treehouse: Live, featuring live gameplay of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, Yoshi’s Crafted World, and Diablo III: Eternal Edition.

With the holiday season quickly approaching Nintendo has so much in the pipeline that they are sure not to disappoint.
