The previous PlayStation 4 exclusive, No Man’s Skyis set to release on Xbox One. This latest news comes from Hello Games’ founder, Sean Murray. In a recent Twitter post, he announced that a big free update will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This update will coincide with the Xbox’s release and is the “largest” this game has seen.

No Man’s Sky gained notoriety during its launch. The game was shown during E3 with features such as giant alien creatures. Murray also talked about multiplayer elements in interviews. None of these were found at launch causing many players to demand refunds, post negative reviews, and even blame Murray for false advertising.

In order to correct their negative reception, the studio began work on numerous updates for players. Bugs were fixed and gameplay elements were tweaked. However, their update “Atlas Rises” brought a large amount of changes.

“Update 1.3, Atlas Rises, brings a brand new and overhauled central storyline, portals, a new procedural mission systemtrade improvementssystem economiesjoint exploration and more.”

Hopefully the game continues to right the wrongs of its past and continues its improvements. Xbox One users will be able to enjoy this game as an Xbox One X enhanced title this summer.
