Nintendo has revealed key Breath of the Wild 2 details in a promotional pamphlet. It confirmed what many have already speculated, but Link and Zelda are exploring the caverns underneath Hyrule Castle. The excerpt from the pamphlet promises a darker game this time around, with a “powerful threat” awakening. This, without a doubt, is Ganondorf, given the initial trailer from E3 2019. This is significant because it’s the first information Nintendo has released about Breath of the Wild 2 since the 2019 reveal.

Breath of the Wild 2 Trailer Analysis

“Finally, Link and Zelda return in the eagerly awaited successor to unforgettable action-adventure The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with series producer Eiji Aonuma promising a darker adventure this time. Deep within the caverns beneath Hyrule Castle, a new and powerful threat awakens. Can our courageous heroes save the kingdom again?”

Breath of the Wild 2 Detail

Breath of the Wild 2 is the next installment in the Zelda franchise and is being released for the Nintendo Switch. A release date has not been announced, but given that it is The Legend of Zelda’s 35th anniversary, and given the fact that Nintendo has now given some small details about the game, give credence to the fact that the game will release in 2021. It’s also nice to hear that this is a darker installment than Breath of the Wild. Nothing is certain at this point, but these Breath of the Wild 2 details are interesting and finally confirm what theorists have been speculating for well over a year.
