Twitter meltdowns aside, it appears that Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford continues to make headlines this week for other issues. David Eddings, the former VP of Gearbox and former voice actor for popular Borderlands character Claptrap, recently opened up on twitter regarding how he was severely mistreated during his time at Gearbox.
Personally, I think Randy’s been on tilt the last few years. He's not the victim he portrays himself to be. I even blocked him a couple years ago for stalking me on social media. Enough is enough.

Eddings goes on to mention how he’s had a tense relationship with Pitchford the past few years, even having to block him on social media after being stalked. David continues to mention multiple issues within Gearbox, but also clarifies that he’s worked with some incredible and talented people.
Gearbox issued a statement regarding the comments made by Eddings:
“Gearbox takes any and all claims of this nature very seriously and we will abstain from commenting on the allegations Dave is making because it is a personnel matter. We appreciate David’s contributions to the Borderlands franchise and have continued to assert we would welcome him back into the mix as the voice of Claptrap and other future opportunities.”
Judging from his comments, it’s highly unlikely that David would return anytime soon to work at Gearbox, at least while Randy Pitchford is there to cause trouble. Let us know what you think about the situation and the steps Randy Pitchford and Gearbox can take to set things right.
