The Final Fantasy VII Remake is getting a brand-new announcement during an orchestra concert on February 13. The announcement will include the game’s producer Yoshinori Kitase. There’s speculation that a part of this announcement will be the long-rumored PC version of the game, but at this point, that is unfounded. A message just uploaded by Square Enix from Motomu Toriyama. In the message, he spoke about brand new content for the remake.
“There will be a special part of the concert where I’ll make an appearance and talk about a few FF7R contents to be revealed only during this event, so please tune in!”

Whatever the announcement is, fans are foaming at the mouth for more information for the next installment in the remake series. With its timed exclusivity ending in April, the PC port makes sense. There is also a rumored PlayStation 5 upgrade in the works. Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation 4 was released in April of last year and was one of the most highly anticipated game of this past generation. It went through a bit of development hell and took forever to come out, not to mention the episodic nature of it is not a popular decision, but all in all the first installment in the Final Fantasy VII remake saga was very well received and one of the highest-selling games of the year.
Hopefully this Final Fantasy VII remake announcement has something to do with game/story content, or an update on the next installment in the series, rather than an announcement of a PlayStation 5 upgrade or a PC port.
